How much wood did the Woodchuck actually chuck?

I think it was like 4, maybe 5.

He chucked about three square kilometers in about 4 years. But after a rather large chuck of wood got lodged in his throat. He died shortly after.

He will be missed.

Actually, he didn’t chuck any. The rhyme clearly wonders, “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” Implying, of course that the woodchuck couldn’t actually chuck wood.

Poser is right on this one, despite his dumb answer on the gun issue. He/she and I may be the only people that know how the story was written.

No, I know the “story” but you guys are taking it too literaly. Plus he asked how much DID it chuck, not how much COULD he chuck. I would say the flaw in this question would be, how are 4, 6 and 7 measurements of wood?

I would say hell, as I said before, he chucked a hell of a lot of wood. He kinda just ignored his family. But they loved him, even if they didn’t see him that much.
