Can anyone help me with a demonstrative topic?
Ok well i have a speech class and last week i did a informative speech. And for next week we have to do a demonstrative speech. So the problem is that i have to clue on what to show them. My teacher gave the class a list of things we can do but i don’t really like them.
Please write with your suggestions.

You could show them how to roll a joint.
What are you good at doing?
In middle school (long, long ago!), I did one on dog training, brought my dog and put her through her paces. That was fun.
Make a paper airplane, or something that can be in your hands while you are in front of the class.

Well, you probably can’t use the one I did in middle school. I demonstrated the proper way to sharpen a skinning knife.

Perhaps the demonstrative speech that you need to hear is: “How to search google for ‘demonstrative speech’.” Maybe you could write that one…
Brew tea.
Cut hair.
Paint a face.
Create a web page.
Fold a paper crane.
Construct a small catapult.
Brush your teeth.
Remove and reinstall a bicycle chain.
Trim a cat’s claws.
Fire a slingshot.
Decorate a cake.
Crack a walnut in two neat halves.
Shuffle cards.
GA @Jeruba but check the schools policies before taking the slingshot or catapult. Don’t want to violate the school’s zero tolerance policy on weapons.

@WestRiverrat, you’re right. I can’t help thinking how much less fun school (and the world) must be now than it used to be. A few years ago, when I was working for an educational software company, the artists had to put helmets on the drawings of kids before they were allowed to ride bikes in a little animated video.
@CyanoticWasp, that and other beauties can be found right here. Kind of you to notice. The earring too.
I had the same assignment once. I showed them how to throw a shuriken star. Big hit with the class.
My demonstrative topic in college was “How to survive a zombie attack”. I took it seriously and had a lot of fun with it. My instructor said it was one of the most unique topics she had seen (this was many years ago).
@Seaofclouds LOL. And you demonstrated your zombie attack survival strategies and tactics how, exactly?
@lillycoyote I started the presentation by showing a scene from Dawn of the Dead, then I had a power point with different offensive and defensive techniques. I demonstrated how hold, swing, and use different weapons by holding a ruler since I couldn’t actually take weapons in with me.
