What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Yeah loosely based on an earlier question & the song, for those who know it. Now of course time zones come into play here. I mean, your day may have just begun. If that is the case well feel free to answer later on, tonight maybe. Something, anything that gave you a sense of pride. No matter how small, they all count.

I remembered enough about a few conversations to buy my daughter a couple of presents. No mean feat for me, my memory was badly impaired by chemo. Prideworthy, in a small way.
@JilltheTooth Small way? No way! I’m betting she’ll be bursting with pride. Which in the end, is what it’s all about :¬)
<blushing> gosh, thanks! Tomorrow I’ll deal with that world hunger thing… ;-)
I finished mine and my boyfriend’s Amazon wishlists for my grandmother… It’s mid-October, and that means I’m late ;) lol
I got a couple of nagging things to do done.
I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom. I also finally got my wireless router hooked up.
I fixed the color and sound on my Hacintosh. Huge pain in the ass.
I attended class (dramatic literature) and held my own amongst all those fresh, young, non-memory-impaired collegiate brains. And as of right now, with four quizzes and five exercises down, I’m sustaining a perfect score in the class.
I met my sons new girlfriend and her father. I am proud of his sensible choices.
I accepted needed money from my bf for some routine household things. Normally I would say no even in need and try to find another way to take care of stuff. It’s stupid for some reason I don’t think I’m deserving enough or whatever it is that holds me back and then I end up feeling like crap. Today I said YES, took the money and took care of shite. I feel fine.
I’m pretty proud of the poem I wrote earlier today. I wrote it on the thread where we were asked to write a poem about Fluther. I thought it was pretty good and silly, and I love to be silly. Sometimes poems come really easily to me and this one just flowed. I liked it enough to show it to my Mom when we had dinner tonight and she enjoyed it.
I got up at 5 am to puppysit for my dil. That’s like not even going to bed for me!!
I’m proud that I taught my stand partner how to shift for a cello solo successfully…Not proud that I came late into class today, had to test my solo almost immediately, played horribly and didn’t get the solo.
I’m also proud of how fast I can get ready in 10 minutes. :]
Finally packed my suit case for a trip Thursday.
I went to the gym and ran three miles! According to the machine, I burned 256 calories. I feel better about myself.
I packed five rounds into a one-inch group at 75 yards, and brought the Rotisserie section of my department up to full speed from a dirty, closing-shift-guy-never-showed-up standstill in just two hours. With help.
I also learned that my new manager doesn’t know beans about plumbing. Since I do know beans (though not much else) about plumbing, I was able to enjoy a certain degree of smugness.
I was understanding when I didn’t really want to be.
@Jeruba And as of right now, with four quizzes and five exercises down, I’m sustaining a perfect score in the class
Why doesn’t this surprise me?
Thanks, @FutureMemory. I do work at it. My brain is more than 3 times as old as most of those I’m sharing the classroom with. I have a lot of knowledge and experience that they currently lack, but a little time will take care of that, whereas they have abilities in abundance that I’ve lost and will never have again. It’s pretty even on the balance scale, if you ask me. Considering how hard I didn’t work when I was an undergraduate, I’m doing some compensating now.
