Will google attempt to provide insurance?

Google is working on cars that drive themselves. Will they also be working on fixes for social needs like insurance policies?

They have an incredibly engineering-driven culture and given that I would bet they will tend to tackle engineering-related areas. Energy is a field I suspect they will continue investing in and perhaps even get into directly eventually.
