What's your favorite combination of ingredients?
Or the best of all time?
Mine would have to be cheese and tomatoes, for making various dishes.

Chicken fat and black pepper is a magical combination.
Generically, I’d say ‘leftovers’, as it’s fun finding ways of using them. Otherwise, butter, sugar, flour, eggs and any number of lovely extras to make cakes with.
Bread and milk! I love both.
chips and salsa. rice and beans and tacos.
@MeinTeil I’ve never heard of that combination before.
Olive oil, pressed garlic, basil and a bit of chili pepper will make most any dish sing!
Chocolate and whipped cream
Potassium nitrate, sulfur and charcoal. It’s the best combination of ingredients ever!
Don’t eat it!
OK…
Wine, brie, crackers and edible underwear.
Diced onions , celery and bell peppers frying in oil with fresh garlic.
Cabbage, sliced, boiling in water with lots of butter, s&p.
A TV dinner and a recliner. (-;
To build texture and “depth”: onions and garlic
To add zing: asian garlic/red pepper paste and black pepper
To add some fatty flavor: bacon and cheese
My real answer: champagne and a crystal flute
Cinnamon Nutmeg Cloves and Honey
Vodka, cranberry juice, lime and ice!
marshmallow fluff and graham crackers~
Banana, strawberries and chocolate.
Melted cheese, and bread.
@Aesthetic_Mess Hey, you were the one who asked for my favorite combination of ingredients.
I can think of nothing better. Of course it’s all in the presentation and setting. Putting them all in a blender simply would not work. But, after a shower and in candle light that combo can’t be beat.
@Aster Sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate both work just fine. Honest.
Rice and beans. In particular, Mexican-style rice and pinto or black beans. Being the foundation of a burrito, the greatest food ever created, I love it quite a bit.
…favorite combination…
Scotch and water [frozen water].
And I guess that would need to be in some sort of processed silica sand vessel [Double Old Fashion tumbler].
Apple pie and coffee. Add a little vanilla ice cream and you have heaven on earth.
a garnish of grape jelly with pretty much anything you have.
