I really like it for some reason.
tree stump
I could probably get one for a lot cheaper than 200, though.

I think you could get one for lots cheaper than 200 like for free
I love it. Like, really love it.
I think you might be able to find one for cheaper though. I wouldn’t go with free unless you’re comfortable sanding and finishing it yourself though.
I have these. They are from my back yard and cut even. Polyurethane. Chainsaw. If you don’t want to do it yourself, friends? Gift hints?
we have one just like that at my moms house. except i think it was found in the wild or chopped down, aka way cheaper. anyhow its awesome.
I really wouldn’t pay that much for it, but I think it looks awesome. Of course, it depends on what kind of furniture surrounds it.
rad.
put an oddly shaped piece of glass and you’ve got yourself a nice table.
@lucillelucillelucille: 11th grade math, the class clown brought a copy of that clip and told our teacher that it was about logs (as in logarithms) and she believed him, put the tape on and we all died of laughter, thanks for that memory reminder!
It’s lovely, but $200? Wow, I’m rich and didn’t even know it, I have a corner of my yard full of those.
@mama cakes—Don’t make me bust out some wicked creativity!—:)
If you did it yourself, the finish would be a combination of olive oil and wax, like a 4:1. You would need to let the wood cure to get the moisture out of it. These are cool, too.
Natural wood as furniture is “in” right now!
I love it. I also love using barrels and tubs as planters, and pitchers as vases. In general, I’m a fan of the whole “look at my new use for this old thing that was just lying around, because I’m so creative” thing.
It will be heavy. Too small for a table or a footrest.
If you want this heavy object for its beauty:use it as a plant stand.
