Do you find it hard to feel sorry for a gazillionaire quarterback who loses 15 Million in a Ponzi scheme?

Absolutely not. It doesn’t matter who it is. He got robbed, plain and simple. Who am I to judge him because he has a lot of money?
No. As buckyboy28 said, it is sad when people gets ripped off. Also, Elway had an honorable career that was not tainted by steroids or personal scandals, so that makes it even sadder.
PS John Elway was one of my favorite quarterbacks growing up.
Nope. Of course, I can certainly feel more sorry for non-gazillionaires.
Nope he’s a jackass in person and if he didn’t treat others so badly then karma wouldn’t have bit him in the ass the way it did.
No, i’m not biassed against people with more money. What’s wrong is wrong, no matter your financial status. I’d feel sorry for anyone (provided they’re good people and not crooks and whatnot) who takes a big loss that hits them hard financially.
If there was someone that actually lost close to everything, compared to him, I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
Not at all. That’s a terrible thing regardless.
However, it’s not difficult because he’s been gracious enough to not comment on it, and it’s being handled in the proper channels. If he tries to gain public sympathy because of it, I won’t just find it difficult to be sorry for him…I’m going to be very, very angry.
FUCK YES! I find it very fucking hard to feel sorry for a bastard like that!
