Which do you enjoy more....a sunrise or a sunset?

Sunrise. because, i know at the age of 66, i have survived another day to live.

Sunsets are beautiful, but to me, do not have the same meaning.

I love sunsets. I love the twilight hour which seems strongest in the winter. I feel a peace and tranquilty watching a sunset. In Alberta, in the summer this can be 10 o’clock at night, full dark around 11, so if it’s a good camping night, for eg you can see both- sunrise is about 4. I am the night owl type, so way too fuzzy to enjoy a sunrise.

Sunrise. No, wait, sunset.
No wait, sunrise. I love them both!

Sunsets are usually more spectacular for some reason and I am more likely to have time to enjoy them.

Each has its own unique beauty, both are simply wonderful!

Sunset. I almost never even see the sunrise; I’d rather be asleep. And there’s nothing more beautiful than a sunset over the ocean.

I don’t even remember the last time I watched the sunrise. It’s wonderful watching the sunset at the beach in the company of good friends, though.

I’ve always wanted to stay up from sunset to sunrise with a loved one. It seems like a perfect moment to share.

Maybe sunset just edges it for me. I’m kind of nocturnal, in the sense that I love the dark nights in the winter. No idea why, just do!

I’m with @chyna.
I usually wake up early in a good mood and I look forward to going to bed.
If I have to pick only one, I’ll take the one my bedroom window faces.

I love sunrises because I think they’re beyond beautiful compared to a sunset
But I love sunsets for the atmoshpere they can set.

I love them both! One beckons the beginning of a new day of possibilities, the other marks their completion. Also, which one looks better depends on the geography, weather, elevation, company, and one’s state of mind.

While they’re both beautiful, i like sunrises a little more because it’s the beginning of the day with things to look forward to. Plus, getting to see a sunrise means that you’re up early which means the day feels longer. And mornings are fresh and i like the sound of morning birdies tweeting.

@NaturallyMe I am so with you on your take there! Nothing like a sunrise to let you know you now have a whole day ahead of you to experience before that curtain call sunset!!

I have never got a chance to watch either but I think I would like both equally.

@daytonamisticrip No real need to go outside then, all you need to do is pull up a chair to the window and watch Ma Nature do her thing!! Take a picture too if you can!

Sunset – I enjoy evening time more than morning time so I am usually in a better frame of mind by that point.

Sunrise… I feel a weird boost of energy.

@Deja_vu I agree and just got that “kick” this morning with another awesome sunrise!!

Sunsets are always pretty because the sky is getting darker and its all purple and pink-ish and orange.

Sunset. I’m like a zombie in the mornings.
