What tattoo do you have/want?
I have a few in mind for myself and it’s something that interests me

I used to want to get three chain links tattooed on each wrist.

I have what I want… a clean canvas. Although I do find other’s choices interesting.
Hmm…I wonder if that butterfly could land on that flower if I pushed right here…Ouch!
Well, if I ever get balls enough to do it, I want this broken sword tattooed on my back. Possibly with this tree behind it, or integrated into it somehow.
And, this on my chest.

I have none. I would like my kids’ names, maybe on my arm somewhere. However, I’m too much of a sissy prick to face the….....well, pricks. If you catch my drift.
No no! It’s the White Tree of Gondor!

The Door to Moria had some vine-like branches wrapped around two pillars. See?

@noelleptc, I changed my mind because a bazillion people wound up getting the same thing and it didn’t seem too original anymore. This is what I wanted.
Whew, that was some quick ‘shopping.
Anyway, here‘s my specific idea. Not perfect, but you get the idea.
I have a red apple on my hip. It’s the fruit from the tree of knowledge…. hehehhe
I have a small green frog on my left boob (youthful folly), a variation of Pacific Northwest native art Raven Stealing the Sun on my abdomen (beating cancer) and the Picasso serigraph mouse over my heart in honor of my daughter (I’ve always called her “My Mouse”). I’m jonesing for one with a fish motif to honor my Dad… soon…soon…
@Seek_Kolinahr I knew it would be Isildur’s sword and the White Tree without looking at the pics.
I have a pegasus on one arm and a phoenix on the other. I’d love a big phoenix on my back, in the Chinese style. But I would feel kind of guilty about paying so much for something I can’t look at.
I have Alex Grey’s ‘birth’ painting on my back, the word “namaste” below that with two hands holding up my back, kind of. I have an ‘f’ for Firefly on my ankle with a naked Dia De Los Muertos girl tattooed on my shin. I have the word ‘breathe’ with two symbols beneath it for the queer and transgender communities on my inner left wrist. I have 5 dark circles behind my ear, a couple of tattoos on my lower tummy and ‘Addicted to Love’ on my hip with two hearts. I plan on getting song lyrics tattooed as well as some poetry and a quote. There are many more to come.
I’m an asshole who’s fond of cats, so this should be perfect for me.
I’ve got a butterfly-scorpion on my left scapula (that might be removed at some point, the jury’s out), a fleur de lis on my left wrist, and a matching set of abstracted ferns on the outside of my thighs – hip to about four inches above my knee.
In 2012 I’m extending the ferns. The addition will wrap around the top of the existing ferns and run straight down the back of my legs terminating on the back of my calves. Getting the backs of my knees done will probably be the worst yet. The nerves active at the lowest part of the left fern were agonized…though not the right. Curious fact, my nerve sensitivity is not evenly mirrored across my body. Later on there will probably be more fern work on my back.
I like the idea of getting an Occam / Hanlon tattoo and a St. James Infirmary one, but it’s so hard to find the right spot for smaller tattoos and I like the idea of keeping my right arm respectable and ink-free since I shake with it. I’ve also toyed with getting the words ”star stuff”, an illustration of ”turtles all the way down” and Tenniel’s drawing of Alice with the flamingo. But unless I can find good spots for them I won’t bother. I know a bunch of poorly placed small tattoos will just make me look like a five year-old let loose on a sticker book.
I have a koi fish on my tummy and I’m planning on getting a large ocean scene on my back. It’ll probably end up happening bit by bit. I want to have a large boat starting on my left side sailing into the scene in honor of my grandfather. I’m really jonesing for another one so I’ve been thinking about getting the Wallace clan crest with our slogan “pro libertate.”
I have an octopus on my right forearm.
Ive been toyin with the idea of getting my initials in hieroglyphics on my left wrist in solid white ink without any shading or anything.
I have too many to tell what I have but one I want is the words ”your sins in to me, as a rapturous voice excapes I will tremble a prayer, and beg for forgiveness, your sins into me oh my beautiful one” with other stuff around it, but the other stuff is too hard to explain

I would like a dragon of some kind on my arm. Haven’t found the perfect design yet though.
