Does anyone have quotations about poets or poetry itself ?
Or where I can find ?
For example here is a quote about film ,
“Film is a disease. When it infects your bloodstream, it takes over as the number one hormone; it bosses the enzymes; directs the pineal gland; plays Iago to your psyche. As with heroin, the antidote to film is more film.”
—Frank Capra
but I want quotes on poetry itself, or about poets
Or if anyone knows websites where I can find them

Walt Whitman is a great start. He wrote:
I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
I loaf and invite my soul,
I lean and loaf at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.
My tongue, every atom of my blood, formed from this soil, this air,
Born here of parents born here from parents the same, and their parents the same,
I, now thirty-seven years old in perfect health begin,
Hoping to cease not till death.
Creeds and schools in abeyance,
Retiring back awhile sufficed at what they are, but never forgotten,
I harbor for good or bad, I permit to speak at every hazard,
Nature without check with original energy.
“Poetry grants us what nature denies us: a golden age which never rusts, a spring which never fades, unbeclouded happiness and eternal youth.”
Ludwig Boerne
These may be what you’re looking for…
You may have to do a bit of sifting, but Goodreads has a poetry tag in their quotation section. The first page has a favourite of mine by Charles Baudelaire: “Always be a poet, even in prose.” Lurve to @aprilsimnel for quoting “Song of Myself”. Everyone should read it. “This Is What You Shall Do” is another great piece by him (“Your very flesh shall be a great poem.”)
