Are apple gonna add bluetooth for the next generation iPod?

If you’re like me, you’ve often asked yourself why apple has not added bluetooth capability to their iPod touch

If you’re talking about listening to music via a bluetooth receiver, my understanding is that bluetooth can’t be transmit and/or amplify a stereo signal.
the most recent versions of Bluetooth definitely do support stereo. but apple has a very minimalist philosophy, and they never add a feature without considering all the implications. adding Bluetooth means shorter battery life. more settings to deal with. pairing the Bluetooth headset an dealing with interference. all very un-apple. when they see how to use Bluetooth for something more than just cutting the headphone cord, thats when we’ll see Bluetooth in an iPod.
I understand now why they did not add bluetooth
