How do I enlarge everything in my new computer?

Asked by MyNewtBoobs (19069points) October 18th, 2010

I got my new laptop today, and I can’t seem to get everything to be large so I’m not constantly squinting. I’ve enlarged the display to 125%, gone to window color under display and enlarged all the fonts, and changed the fonts in Firefox. But a lot of icons are still freaking teeny and text is still pretty small in the control panel. What other changes do I need to make?

Have you tried changing your monitor resolution?

For Windows 7 all you need to do is right click the desktop and click the “screen resolution” option

Pick a smaller number. If it is 1440 X 900 try 1152 X 720. Just play around until it works.
