If you could be re-incarnated into another race, what would it be and why?

Just for fun.
Mine would be Japanese. Pretty advance, nice hair, nice skin, tend to age well. Really good schools and the kids are taught to eat a healthy diet. And family is really important.

I would be a Zeta Reticulan. I am getting weary of this scaly skin.
Japanese are not a race, you
I’d choose one of the ethnicities of India (also not a race, but I think I know what @Pandora means). I’d have long, gleaming black hair, delicate features, and deep dark eyes, and I’d know how to wrap a sari. I’d also be heir to an admirably ancient philosophical tradition and a derivative of a sublime language, namely Sanskrit, which would inform my entire worldview, imagination, and thought process in a way that my Western heritage barely permits me to glimpse, never to comprehend.
I’m happy in my skin and I am colour-blind anyway – literally and metaphorically (possibly as a result – we discussed this once) – so I am not curious about other “races” – but it would be cool if there were Gospel singers in the synagogues – I have to visit the Black Hebrews one day – they come pretty close to what I am suggesting.
@ragingloli Sorry it was really late when I thought of this question. I did start with asian in mind but I think the Japanese has a culture closer to my own than the rest. So Nationality is what I would mean.
I was thinking of at least human.
@FutureMemory Same, I was thinking human, but I did ask race and not nationality. LOL Crazy people.
@Jeruba, Thanks for understanding that it was about 230 in the morning. Lucky I could form a thought and type. LOL
Saris are cool. Awesome reasons.
@seazen The question is not to see if you feel miserable or less than because of your current nationality but rather to see what you find admirable about someone different than your own and what do you feel you could gain being reincarnated into another nationality.
A Na’vi lol. I would want to stay black, to be honest.
Like @Jeruba, I would be an Indian for the simple reason that I think Indian women are the sexiest women on earth (except for my wife, of course ;-).
Another vote for Indian, and preferably a female, although I’d be willing to be a male.
Japanese. I love the culture, the technology, the food , the people. I love everything.
German, always liked that country especially after living there for about 4 years
I’d be black. I’d be an activist. Nothing much would change.
@Winters, I can see that. When I visited Germany I encountered a lot of nice people and the atmosphere seemed more relax. The country side is beautiful there.
@Aster, Yep, I lived there for almost 3 years. It is an interesting culture with new age thinking mixed with old culture traditions. I found it interesting how young rebellious teens easily transition into adult hood and responsibilities without missing a beat. Of course there is always and exception or two but the majority is still very self controlled.
British. Coolest accents on earth, and I like cold weather.
I can’t do it. I am a white Canadian, maybe could go Norwegion. Canada is a good melting pot, respect for all races, health care, etc. A city south of me just voted a Muslim man to be mayor of their 600,000 population city- first in Canada the news said.
@faye, Ok, here is another way of thinking of it. Your nationality no longer exists, but somehow all the others have survived. You are going to be reincarnated, like it or not but you get to choose. Who would you choose and why?
@FutureMemory True but I think there are different accents so you may become one that doesn’t have the cool accent.
Okay, an Italian from a large happy family in the Tuscan region. I know very little about the politics or financial benifits that exist there but I loved being a tourist there.
@faye, There you go. No real disloyalty to Canadians anywhere. You had none to worry about. LOL
I’ve been to Italy. It is beautiful. I also love the many tiny little box cars. They were so cute.
