Why is it so important to edit a question?
When I ask a question at the end it says to edit. What makes a question? Are there key words that you have to follow?

Those aren’t prompts saying that you need to answer a question, those are just there in case you want to edit anything.
It’s just giving you the opportunity to look everything over once more before you submit it. You are not required to change anything.
I think it has to be detailed enough at the outset so people know what they’re answering before they go into all the details.
I reread my question at that point. If there are any errors in typing, spelling, grammar or meaning, I’ll use edit to correct them at that point.
It is the opportunity to look back over everything before submitting it and to correct errors.
I almost always find a typo when I reread a question and need to edit it before posting.
Hahaha! Oh my God…if you only knew how many times I had written something to be posted elsewhere without reading through it again and then saw it posted and thought…..“you’re a damned idiot girl….or at least you sound like one”! In actuality while typing I sometimes type the wrong connectors, spell something wrong, forget words entirely (like I picked up in reviewing this response), and then there’s those occasional Freudian slips that occur that tell everyone what you were REALLY thinking that you wanted to keep to yourself. Hahaha! It’s a good thing they call for editing here. My IQ probably just went up half a dozen points!
Think of it as checking your hair before you go out :¬)
I love being able to edit my questions, because like everything else I write, I find that as I work my way through the process of composing it I find better ways to express my thoughts. Not to mention correct misspellings and typos.
That is so you can catch those last minute bloopers.
I edit because it’s always typos and grammatical, or the subject matter shoots me in the foot. The best questions I feel I have delivered here, can be poorly constructed depending on how one wants to interpret it, or boring to the Fluther crowd; despite reforming them to be within consensus.
Oh, if I would have only have paid more serious attention to my High School English Teacher, instead of that pretty green eyed girl sitting behind me in class-it’s all her fault!
