Not to go into too much detail, but I had a colonoscopy to rule out cancer, and the doctor told me I have hemorrhoids. I have occasional bleeding when going to the bathroom. I eat plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water.
I would like some advice on what other people have done to minimize the problem or treat it.

Infrared photocoagulation. (Although I have to admit it was pretty painful at the time)
painful subject but
1) Hot bath, sit 15–30 min in hot bath will really help you out for 10 days twice a day
2) You can use all those creams for hemorrhoids that are sold without prescription.
3) Fiber and fiber
4)don’t exercise
5) ask your doctors for some hemorrhoids suppositories

If the bleeding is only occasional and you have no pain, and you’re not anemic, then I wouldn’t worry about it.
I had them once. Prep H worked.

Exercise is helpful in relieving constipation and in decreasing pressure on the hemorrhoidal veins. Individuals should be encouraged to have a bowel movement as soon as possible after the urge arises. Once that urge passes, stools can become constipated and straining with a bowel movement may occur. You should try this because this is the best hemorrhoid treatments.
