Is it possible to make a private editable online map just for those you wish to see?

Like the Fluther Map that marks locations of Jellies is it possible to make a private version to share with select people to place private location info that one would not want outsiders to see?

Google maps “my map” function is the closest thing I can think of. It might be just what you’re looking for. I suggest you check it out.
