Google Chrome did something weird, and I don't know how to put it back to normal. Help?
Well I’m having problems with that auto-set home page, where there’s those 8 pictures of your most common websites. All the sudden today, they weren’t there! It was just a plain screen with my theme picture and nothing else (besides the address bar, of course). Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

On the top right, there is a small downward-triangle. Click it. Check the box that says “Most visited”.
Click the dropdown arrow next to “Most visited”.
Ah! @MrItty beat me to it!
Hmmm… I don’t like it to open that way, so I can’t tell you how to make it start there, but I do know that if I do a Ctrl-T for New Tab or Ctrl-N for New Window, that’s how the new blank Tab and Window open.
Hmm, @MrItty and @Vortico that didn’t work. There’s no “Most visited” or any dropdown arrow in the top right. What now?
Close chrome and restart?
Well, that didn’t work. I’m gonna give it a couple days (this isn’t bugging me too much), and if it doesn’t go back to normal, I’ll download a new version of chrome.
Try this.
Open Chrome
Hit the “Tools” icon (the little wrench at top right)
Find “Options”
Under “Home Page” click the radio button for “use the New Tab page”
Close the dialog box
@CyanoticWasp That didn’t work. Thanks though.
I can’t remember quite what I did, but I got it back to normal!!! Thanks so much everybody! I love my computer being normal :)
@ChocolateReigns well, it wouldn’t have worked until the next time you started Chrome, but I’m glad it’s working for you the way you like it now.
