Welcome to Fluther!
I personally would go into a local hardware store and grab a handful of screws, nuts, and bolts. Lately, they’ve been in high demand at my house with the few projects going on.
This would be a great question for the Social category. You’d get to see people’s personality instead of strictly getting answers.
4 quarters to use in gumball/hard candy machines.
1/125000 of one share of Berkshire Hathaway.
Instead of thinking about buying something with a dollar, you could always do the homeless people in the streets a favor by exchanging the one dollar bill for a 100 pennies and drop them everywhere in the downtown streets since pennies are supposed to be a sign of good luck. lol
2 chicken livers, the catfish love them.
A Taco at Taco Bell, with change left over.
@Tamara
Or you could just give the dollar to a homeless person…
A newspaper. News, sports, coupons, want ads, and the comics. A rare value.
Don’t spend it on junk. Save it until you need to spend it.
Pay for the person behind you on a highway toll.
Buy one of those chocolate bars where the proceeds go to charity.
@furball11 Or you could just directly donate it so it actually gets donated to charity.
@Ivan, If I was to do that, there wouldn’t be any pennies left to give out to the rest of the homeless people when it is all about sharing with one another whether it just comes to giving out change. A penny, pennies are better than not having any at all and they will add-up little by little to homeless people.
