What does "one observer" mean on Fluther?

Asked by Joybird (3159points) October 26th, 2010

Frankly the idea of being watched sort of gives me the creeps. It’s like having a peeping jelly. But I have no idea what it means either. Is this a moderation thing, a poster thing, or another jelly watching and reading thing?

When there is only one person observing, that means it’s yourself!

Observing members tells you how many people are reading the question at that moment, including yourself. So if there’s only 1, it’s just you (as @mrrich724 said).

You can check it out by looking at the question and noting when it says one observer. Then type a character into the Answer box. The count will change to 1 composing member.
Coincidence? I think not.
