Can cats catch shingles from humans?

I don’t think so, never heard of this being an issue.
No. The herpes zoster virus does not infect cats. Herpes viruses are pretty species-specific.
If you throw the shingles just right, cats can catch them between their teeth. It’s harder to catch them with their paws, since cats have no thumbs. Although, I once had a cat with polydactily, and it looked like he had thumbs. Cool cat. I never threw shingles to him though…
