Where can I find the car of my childhood dreams?

Asked by mrrich724 (8550points) October 29th, 2010

I want a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, to me, still the ultimate in sexy super car. I was obsessed with it as a child.

I can’t find one ANYWHERE online. Any recommendations?

My husband buys his cars on ebay. Also a really good place is the Lamborghini club website if they have one. The Porsche Club, which we are members of, has a place on their site for people who want to sell their cars, I assume Lamborghini has such a thing?

Oh, also if you have a mechanic in the area who works on those cars, you might let him know to keep an eye out for someone who wants to sell.

Great ideas. Thanks! I did check eBay though and I was shocked to see nothing so far :(

For high end autos, I’d recommend checking out The Dupont Registry

Did a search for your car (and a few years around it)

Lots of fun to check out the beautiful stuff on that site.

In your dreams. Assuming that’s still helpful.
