Is there a poem/ode/funny quote about the typo?
I want to find a poem, ode, funny quote, or something similar about the typo or grammatical mistake. Sometimes I get tired of people always saying “sorry if there are typos” especially on my new-mom forums. Give yourself a break! Most of us don’t care. I want to say that but in a funny/cute way so was hoping to rip something off that someone else already wrote. Haha. I already google searched but to no avail.

I hae typos.
Here are some quotes about typos. I didn’t think any looked appropriate, but you might think differently.
Sorry, just woke up—it’s the best I could come up with:
You recently went through a birth
And now you’re restoring your girth
You may have milk on your shirt
Or be kissing a hurt
So let’s treat our typos with mirth.
Oh no!!
I’ve just done a typo!
Will “they” let it go?
Don’t think so.
Well not that jelly & her cat milo :¬)
Get Eats, Shoots and Leaves. She is hilarious and provides many examples of poor grammar across every section of society right up to etching in stone.
“Don’t sweat the petty things
and don’t pet the sweaty things”
The typographical error is a slippery thing and sly;
You can hunt till you are dizzy, but it somehow will get by,
Till the forms are off the presses, it is strange how still it sleeps;
It shrinks down in a corner; and it never stirs or peeps.
That typographical error is too small for human eyes
Till the ink is on the paper, when it grows in size;
The boss just stares with horror, then he grabs his hair and groans;
The secretary drops her head upon her hands and moans.
The remainder of the issue may be clean as clean can be;
But the typographical error is the only thing they’ll see.
