I would like to keep track of the movies and documentaries I have watched – by episodes if it is a series.
I recently discovered www.goodreads.com that provides a similar service for books.
Do you know if any site that will let me track movies?
Optionally, I would like to get involved in discussions about those documentaries with other viewers, or look at similar documentaries, recommendations and reviews by other people, etc.
Thanks!

I have wondered that myself and this site may be what we are looking for.
What a great idea! It appears that there are several sites that allow you to track the movies you’ve watched, including The Auteurs, Jinni and The Movie Tracker, which came out earlier this year. Of course, there is always IMDB.
While they all have what appears to be the same intent, with slightly different features. It’s worth doing the research on each of them before investing the time using one, only to discover it doesn’t meet your needs. Here is a movie site review that lists Top 10 Social Networking Web Sites for Movie Fanatics.
Good luck in the search for the one that best suits your needs!
You take a piece of paper, write it down, and pin it on your wall.
I have a netflix account, and I rate every movie I’ve seen. I can look at all the movies I’ve rated under “Preferences” in my account . . . it’s a bit roundabout, but it works.
You could always make a list on word or notepad.
You could make a spreadsheet. You could track whatever you want on a spreadsheet. You could rank them however you wanted.
@ragingloli @antimatter @jamielynn2328 I think you are missing the point noted in the details of the question. The OP wants to not only electronically track films but be able to interact with others through discussions, as well as receive recommendations from others.
