Why does a ticket collector earn more than an airline pilot?
I was recently shocked to discover that a ticket collector for the TTC (Toronto Transit Commision) earns $100,000 per year and more with overtime. This is probably the most unskilled job going. Even a counter assistant at MacDonalds needs more education. Something is seriously wrong here. No wonder our transit system is in horrible condtion.
