What are some good sites for uploading a photo to the web so that you can post a link?

Fairly self-explanatory. I tried “copy taste” which I had used before but it gave me an inscrutable error message when I tried to upload the photo. Anything else?

I use imageshack.us my self. I find that as long as you don’t upload any copyrighted material or porn the picture stays up more or less forever.
i second imgur.com
Jp turned me onto it and i havent looked back.
Sidenote: Droplr and CloudApp are amazing, but they’re Mac Only. :)
@janbb You’re welcome! I’m a Mac nerd ;)
I am no professional, but I just use photobucket.
@Plone3000 But I can’t create a unique url that I can embed in a post for just one picture there, can I?
You can also set up a blog (on blogger, etc.) and just post pictures there.
@janbb like @Plone3000 I’m no professional and I also use Photobucket. It the first photo hosting site that I ever used and it suits my needs. I’ve tried Flikr and I don’t really like that much but it may just because I’m used to Photobucket. And yes, it’s very easy to post photos to other sites with photobucket. They provide the embed code, IMG code and direct url link and one more code I can’t remember for each photo so you just need to copy and paste.
Here are some lovely Texas Blue Bonnets and Indian Paintbrushes from my Photobucket account.
I have recently registered on a site where I can up load pictures and stories for sharing that will not impact any of my other activities or names online. I used to put every picture I wanted to share with Fluther on the Fluther photo bucket site until I realize that my entries were the only ones being uploaded. I now have a personal site that users can look if they want, but won’t be part of the entire site.
