What do you make of Randy Quaid's effort to seek asylum & refugee status in Canada based on his claim that a ring of Hollywood lawyers, accountants, managers, and hit men are extorting him and trying to kill him and other Hollywood stars?

Sounds like a conspiracy to me! Or maybe – just a bunch of crap.
Sounds like a dude either desperately and pathetically seeking attention or suffering from a mental illness.
I think it’s an affair that might eventually might be made into a Hollywood movie at some point. How exciting that would be. Or positively dreadful. Depending on your point of view I guess.
I heard that Canada has granted them refugee status. I also heard that did not pay a bunch of debts. This makes me some angry that now part of my tax dollar has to house and feed these nitwits. Love to know the truth.
I was wrong about Randy getting asylum. I must have heard half the radio report! I just read google news that it is highly unlikely. Yay, Canada. Why doesn’t he go to the police in California?
I am sad for Mr. and Mrs. Quaid. This behavior comes on the heals of them being arrested for squatting in the guest house of the home they once owned in Santa Barbara. According to the artilce I linked, this was not the first time the couple was arrested. I do believe there are actually a couple star whacker alive and well and striking celebrities, they are Bad Career-Choices and his sister Money Management-Issues and they has been around since Hollywood’s early days.
I too feel sad for the both of them. I think something is wrong mentally with them and they do need help. But they need to pay their bills also.
I wondered about this also when I saw it on the news. It seems like the Quaids fell into a big pile of crazy. Who do they think is behind the Starwhackers?
Scientologists? Freemasons?
On the other hand, they make celebrity watching a helluva lot more interesting than Charlie Sheen or LiLo.
