How can I make money rather quickly and still fulfill my duty as a mother?

Have you applied for any jobs in your area? There aren’t really many ways to make money quickly, you just have to get a job and work for it. If you are in need of cash quickly, you could try selling some things that you have, but I really don’t recommend that unless you are desperate (especially if they are things you’ll end up replacing later on down the road).

Have a yard sale, ask friends to ‘donate’ a few decent quality items, advertise on Craigslist…I just made a few hundred extra $‘s having a yard sale with a freind recently.

Yes, babysitting is good, I babysat when my daughter was little for several years.

You could consider Avon, Tupperware or some other sales position. Make sure you do your research though as some have start up fees and others don’t. This tends to work better if you live in the city or if you have a lot of friends. I sold Tupperware and was pleased with my income but in fizzled out for me. I have also done Mystery Shopping. If interested I can send you the one company I worked with which is online and had work throughout the US. Mystery Shopping did not work well for me because I lived 30 miles from the city, where most of the jobs were, which cuts into your profit. Do you make any crafts/hobbies that you could sell on a site like Etsy?

Yes, you must be careful of scams. One great thing is to visit the Better Business Bureaus website and see what they have to say about the company. This company which I used seems reputable. I never had trouble with them. Let me go and find my paperwork for the website.

www.bestmark.com is the company I went through. Just make sure you read the information carefully. There are some “shops” where you pay for a service and they reimburse you and pay you but you have to use your own money first. I never had trouble with the reimbursement or payment with this company though. Just make sure you read all the information. A friend of mine said she used the site Beyond Hello. That might be another company to look into.
