How do I get up early?
Lately I have been having a hard time getting up early. I try to get up at 5 am but I usually don’t get up until 6am. I go to bed at 9 pm. How can I get myself to get up at 5am?

Do you have to get up at 5 A.M.? Maybe your body is saying it wants more sleep.
Sometimes it is a matter of conditioning yourself to get up that time. If you don’t have to get up then immediately then wait for the time change and start then.
Set two or three separate alarms, if you can. I find that after each alarm it is easier to wake up and get out of bed.
If you don’t have to be up at 5am, try doing it gradually. Start getting up at 5:45 for a week, then adjust back to 5:30 for a week, then 5:15 for a week, and then finally at 5am from then on.
Try sleeping on a park bench… that WILL get you up.
I have an alarm clock but I just shut it off. I have to get up by 6 am but it would be nice to get up a little earlier. @erichw1504 I would just shut them all off and go back to sleep. If I could get a loud high pitched alarm clock that ran away from me that sure would get me up! But I highly doubt such a thing exists or that I could even afford it. I’m going to take a nap now, good night.
Have you tried putting your alarm clock on the other side of the room or even outside of your room so that you physically have to get up and out of bed to turn it off?
Get an alarm clock with a radio setting that will play the radio for the alarm instead of the typical alarm sound. Put it on a station that will play the Rush Limbaugh show, turn the radio on full volume, put the radio across the room. That way you will HAVE TO get out of bed to shut Rush Limbaugh up. Wouldn’t that be worth it? LOL
