I notice that there's a common smell factor between urine and canned sausages. Any idea what it is?

Maybe those sausages are not what they seem. LOL

Or: they are canned in urine.

note-I’ve never had canned sausages. Those sound like a bad idea…generally.

Haha probably since they’re both in a small, dark, moist area until they’re let out into the world!

Canned sausage and piss?

Is there a difference?

Vienna sausages? Your urine smells like vienna sausages?

I think you need to go to the doctor?

I’m guessing nitrates.

Aaak!!! (inside joke)

Canned sausages seem like an oxymoron anyway.

Or your pregnant? The smell of mayonaise could make me vomit from far away. I didn’t even have to be in the same room with the mayo when it was opened and it was nasty smelling.

I’ve never noticed Vienna Sausages smelling like urine. They just smell like regular hot dogs to me. But I have heard that if you eat asparagus, your pee will smell like that. I don’t recall this every happening to me (I eat asparagus and all sorts of other veggies all the time) but one of my friends won’t even eat it because of this problem (I’ve never smelled his stuff). Some people have way more sensitive noses and can smell all sorts of things (usually yucky) that others don’t notice.

@Kardamom

The asparagus issue is due to methyl mercaptan; the same thing that makes skunks so smelly!

Ammonia perhaps used as a preservative?
