Is it possible that you can get an award, only for it to be taken away?

I believe it is only possible to lose the white ones. Correct me if I’m wrong, anyone.

I gained, lost and gained the frizzer award once. I don’t know how that happened. I think it was a glitch that I got it the first time. I have no idea how I got it the second time.

If you don’t eat your peas, they’ll take it away! So be good, and do as Nanny says!

I love peas

Nope. Once you’ve got it, you’ve got it.

In the very early days of awards, a whole slew of folks lost the frizzer award, due to a malfunction in how it was awarded the first time.

@augustlan Th’ damned frizzer’s been leakin’ outta th’ volcaner ageen, ain’t it been?

I know a number of people have the frizzer award, but is there anyone who actually knows how they got it?

augustlan's avatar

I do! Or, I did… now, do I remember? Hrm…

Weird, but I just took a look at my account and my awards have disappeared! I’ve only been a member (as auntydeb, have previously been choppersangel) for a few days, but I distinctly saw a jellyasker award earlier today… And one for sending my first message… Where are they now though? Never have had a ‘frizzer’ though!

@auntydeb Awards are a bit wonky at the moment. Also, welcome back! If you want me to reactivate your old account, just let me know and I’ll do it for you. :)

Thanks Augustlan – nice to see you again! I’ll think about the account… I do like the name! In my new incarnation I am less bothered about awards or lurve, more interested in the content and community, so all good. :o)
