Is it possible to be a teacher and a singer at the same time?

I hate to say it but you need to learn how to STFU. If your boss gives you shit you have to be quite or risk losing your job and being homeless. But take this opportunity to job hunt.

My sisters kid is 17 and he will never shut up. He is going to learn the hard way when he starts working at Taco Bell.

I’m quite but social.

Yes, it’s hard. You work a lot and hope it pays off, and if you have a kid, you really hope it pays off lol.

You can lose someone you love. The otther crap comes and goes. You learn to deal with that. The good stuff you savor. That’s how you become an adult.

Learn to save money and spend money within your means. Having a really good sense of humor will help greatly as will really thick skin. Oh….and a reliable alarm clock is a must!

I have a good sense of humor and I have saved about 1000 bucks over the years.

To survive as an adult you have to first realize that although (if you are lucky) there are individuals that care about your well being, as a whole the world is rather indifferent and really doesn’t owe you anything other than the opportunity to participate. What this means in practical terms is that often times the responsibilities of life take precedence over the things you would rather be doing. For most adults life is a constant balancing act between responsibility and finding enough “leisure time” to not go totally bonkers.

The ironic thing is that once you reach middle age and look back, if you have done your best to do the right thing at every opportunity along the way, you find that the “sacrifices” weren’t really sacrifices at all, but an integral part in whatever you have created along the way. It’s kind of like planting a garden. While you are working on it you are generally hot, sweaty, and tired, and at first all you see is a bunch of bare dirt. However, providing you tend to the things that need tending to along the way, eventually you look back and see beauty and not only do you forget how hard the toil was, you are kind of proud to be able to say that without your efforts it would just be a patch of weeds.

Nah, although…...“Sometimes it’s hard to be a womaaaan!” Bum de bum de bum XD

Nope. Although you have to learn how to deal with real responsibilities as an adult – something most pre-adults don’t know much about. All stages of life have their own challenges i think, but unless you’re having a hard time finding a job to be able to support yourself, i don’t think being an adult is hard.
