If you’re like me, you’ve shared things on fluther that either haven’t come up in conversation with the people you hang with, or you don’t want to disclose to them.
What have you revealed here that you haven’t shared with the people you live with?

Nothing. That would make no sense to me.
My preferences for alcohol and cigars.
I told Fluther I was pregnant before we told family. I was anxious to tell someone, but we didn’t want to get our family member’s hopes up until we had some more information. We have since told our family that I am pregnant, but Fluther knew for about 2 weeks before we told family.
There’s things I’ve shared on Fluther that I haven’t shared with all of my family (extended family) but I can’t think of anything I’ve shared here that my immediate family don’t know about. Except for really trivial things that don’t matter.
After today I am again wondering what kind of dosier has been kept on me? I have revealed too much of the inner workings of my mind.
I haven’t told my family about my morbid side. I haven’t told them that I like meat, kinda funny thing to keep a secret but there’s a certain reason. I haven’t told them about fluther. I haven’t told them about anything that I like or cherish. In their eyes I’m a typical teenage kid with an attitude.
I’ve talked about sexual things on here that I haven’t talked about with my family. They were things that would’ve made me feel awkward if I had said them in person, but the format of the internet makes me feel more comfortable talking about such things. I’ve never talked to my parents about viewing porn or masturbation really…though I do both…
Just about everything. My family knows very little about me. And I live with them.
Let’s just say you guys know me a hell of a lot better than any of my family does.
Nothing. Besides which, I have a family member on Fluther, so it wouldn’t be the proper place at which to conceal anything from them, if I wanted to.
I haven’t told any of my family that I am on Fluther.
@wundayatta Wow. I’m guessing that wasn’t diagnosis by vote on Fluther????
Our fluther NSFW type things.
@JustmeAman ditto my friend! Not like Facebook, you can be more open and ask things that you rather your family not see. They don’t need to know everything. Nothing wrong with that….to discuss a family situation and see what others think! Good therapy!
Not even the girl I like knows that I like her so much, butt Fluther does
A virus! Yeah right, only kidding :¬)
Other than the fact that I use Fluther? Not much.
@6rant6 If only they had. I might not have gotten so sick.
I would say about 40% of the stuff that I mention here.
There is one thing that I have shared with only my husband and Fluther, but I have not shared with my parents. I was raped twice when I was a teenager. It would have broke my mothers heart if I had told her, so I didn’t.
My latest question about my first… boyfriend, I guess you would call it. I’m waiting until the right moment to tell them. There were a couple times when I first joined that I got all my thoughts out about a couple things, which my family didn’t really hear what I really thought about. But most of the things on here aren’t really big, so my family either knows about it, or it just doesn’t matter so it hasn’t come up.
I’m an open book, here and in real life. The only family members who don’t know everything about me are my mother (I’m not in contact with her anymore) and my kids. As my kids grow up, they do learn more and more about me, so I expect someday there won’t be anything they don’t know either. For now, that’s what my alternate account is for. :p
The things I say on fluther I never say in real life. And even if I were to, my family would probably be the last to know. We’re related by blood, but that’s the extent of the similarities.
Actually, I hardly say anything in real life at all, and what I do say generally is just fluff, so saying the paragraphs my fingers release onto a page would be quite a task, mumbling out a couple words a day.
I like written words better because then, if you don’t want to waste your time reading what I say, you can just stop. If I say things to you, your ears take it in regardless.
I like the screen because then I don’t have to watch your every move trying to read in your body what you’re thinking.
