What is a question or questions you have wanted to ask at one point but never have?

Asked by InkyAnn (2441points) November 4th, 2010

There are many questions ive wanted to ask over the years, weather to a specific person or just in general that I never did and from time to time that question would pop back in my head.

What is one or some of yours and why didnt you ask them at the time?

Why did we never work out?
I was actually just asked this by whom I once thought was the love of my life… just as her husband left the room with their baby boy and my fiancee went to get a drink

This same person asked if I agreed that marriage was nothing more than a piece of paper. This was not a comfortable situation.

I always wanted to ask if someone didn’t like me, like in School some people would just be really fake or like pretend to like me and I just always wondered if I should ask.

How does electricity work? It just seems magical to flip a switch or plug a device into a wall and have it work.

My mother was seriously striving to the class valedictorian in high school, but a Jewish girl earned the title instead of her.
As a result, she became mildly anti-Semitic.

I think it was 20 years later that my mother became good friends with a Jewish woman, who was the mother of my best friend in our Boy Scout troop.

I think that was when she finally overcame all of her resentment, but I’m not sure.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think about that until after she passed away and my friend’s mother became aphasic.
Consequently, I’ll never get to ask either of them if that was true or about the details involved.

There are so many other questions besides that one I’d like to ask my loved ones and friends that have passed on.
