What is the global consciousness?

Good question. If you figure that out, let us know. Telepathically, of course.

There is none.
This is, as I suspect that you already know, a political phrase meant to make an appeal for global conformity.

IF there were a “golbal conscousness,” we could tap into it by transcendental meditation while standing on our heads. Unfortunately, no such thing exists as of yet.

People call it different things dependent on what fields of expertise they are in. I remember purposefully changing the term “Collective unconscious” to “Collective consciousness” and having a professor correct me until we had a conversation one day and I told her that I don’t believe it has to be unconscious and that people such as Tibetan Monks know this as do other mystics. I believe you can tap into a collective of consciousness and that this is similar to “The Hundreth monkey theory”. It is a scientific FACT that our minds read and interpret the heart beats of others in close proximity to us. If this is fact than what else are we able to recieve or convey to others both in close proximity or at further distances from us? There are studies of precognition done that are astounding. The how can’t be explained as yet…only that people are able to convey information with great accuracy some distance from the receiver. Just because we can’t explain it as of yet doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
I have on occasion purposefully held someone in my mind for a day or so complete with information of where they should go if they would want to see me…and guess what…they have showed up without even a phone call when I haven’t seen them for years. I’ve done it on so many occasions that I have come to believe the phenomenon as real although I wouldn’t even presume to tell you how it works.

The idea of global consciousness is that if millions of people around the world share a similar intent, that can affect the course of reality. The Global Consciousness Project is a group of scientists around the world who collecting data from around the world. In theory, the data should all be random. However, sometimes, they say, they can detect a pattern where there shouldn’t be one.

This is global consciousness, and they say they have found it.
