I just had a flash of curiosity about the phrases by "Pooty Tang". Any one know what they mean?

The movie has been out long enough so I was hoping that some of his lines may have been translated by now. Sa da tay!

Didn’t it used to be referred to as Poon Tang and not Pooty?

I thought that as well.

I believe the OP is referring to the movie, Pootie Tang.

that would make a difference

I know, It is a dumb movie but it was intended to be. Lots of big name actors involved. Check it out. Wasn’t sure if by using the context of the script some meaning could be gleaned from those lines. I don’t think the title was meant to say “Pussy” in urban speak. Even white people would have figured that out.

Check it out? Thanks, but… methinks not.

It was a funny movie.

I do think that pootie tang was meant to be a play on the slang “poon tang”, it just suits the movie in that way.

I’m not sure that the catchphrases in the movie were really meant to mean anything at all, it was just supposed to be silly.

I did enjoy “I’m gonna git you suckah”… perhaps I’ll give this one a go.

I was thinking as an elegantly framed movie ad/cover art/poster it would make quite a conversation piece.
