I had an allergic reaction to something I ate last night. My throat is sore, my stomach is still churning a bit, and for some reason everything I smell, smells like garbage. :(
Is there something I could eat/drink to help get back to feeling healthy?

don’t eat for a day or two, that helps.
At the local health store they sell charcoal tables that do help that feeling and the smell.
I was also going to suggest charcoal, but too much time may have elapsed. A lot of water can help dilute anything and help it move out of your system faster. You may want to review what you ate to identify what you may need to avoid in the future. You may also want to review what you ate after you feel better!
The usual advice from allergists is to take some Benadryl, which is a potent antihistamine. Your allergic reaction causes release of histamines, which can cause scratchy throat, itchy eyes, etc. Calm down the histamines and you’ll feel much better.

Ginger Ale and crackers or pretzles.
When you say allergic, do you mean scratchy swollen throat? Or, stomach upset, and sore throat from vomiting?
Are sure you didn’t get food poisoning??
Sounds like salmonella or “mayo – poison”.
What do you think cause the reaction?
@JLeslie I didn’t vomit, but my throat became very inflamed and my stomach was very upset. I almost throw-up, but I think the main reaction went towards my throat.
@Tropical_Willie I don’t think it was food poisoning. I’ve had that before. The symptoms were very different from that this time.
benedryl will help.
however lots of water and not eating that food again will cure the problem
Saunas and steam rooms have a great all arouond detoxing affect on the body. Maybe look into their benefits.
