Are people that put their kids up on Facebook, putting them at risk?
There are perverts on Facebook, this has been proven, why do people put picks of their kids on their page??

You might find this enlightening, and disturbing. I’m currently administering a survey for a university study. I talk to the kids and their answers frequently disturb me. What they tell me is so different from what thier parents just go done telling me is scary. Some parent’s attitudes scare the shit out of me too. They don’t want anyone bringing certain subjects up to them, but they fail to realize that the unscrupulous ones are out there and NOT going to ask parnental permission first.
One question in particular reminds me of this site. It asks if the child has talked about sex in the past year with someone they have met online but not in person. It remains to be seen whether the kids who answer yes to this Q are more at risk than those who answer no.
Because I refuse to live a paranoid life and let those perverts rule any of my or my children’s moves.
Because you can set your account so that only people you choose can view your pictures and posts…
I post pictures of my son so that my family and friends can see him as he’s growing up. There are some people we haven’t seen in person in over a year because of moving around with the Army. I have my profile set to private and all my pictures are set to friends only.
A pervert could take a picture of my son at any time without me really knowing it. I’m not going to deny my family the opportunity to see my son growing up just because a pervert may be looking.
Exactly what @Simone and @Dr_seaofclouds said.
There’s pervs everyyyywhere. But parents definitely need to be cautious…everyone should be.
At risk of what? Unless you’re putting your address and times you leave your child unattended under their pictures…......
