Perhaps try not typing so hard?

Seriously though, I've seen this kind of thing happen a lot, and it seems to be the result of heavy use of the laptop keyboard. You could get a wireless (or wired) external keyboard and use that instead of the laptop keyboard whenever possible.

That, or just be super careful not to type with Mjolnir.

How old is the laptop? I’d recommend maybe cleaning out the keyboard with some compressed air and see if that might fix the trouble.

Use a TINY amount of rubber cement in the notch on the bottom of the keycap, and let it dry to tacky before you replace the keycap on the keyboard. DO NOT put cement directly on the keyswitches, just on the keycaps.

Smack it up side the head.
Sorry. Couldn’t help but read that as:
My laptop keys keep [giving me lip]....any suggestions?

That’s just the definition-by-context that I’ve picked up.
Other (more official) variations also include (but are not limited to):
- to complain angrily about something
- to speak thoughtlessly in a burst of released anger
- to speak frankly; usually to someone else’s disdain.
