Would you take a 425 mile bus trip when the driver says this?

I am being told that it is common for bus drivers to announce to the passengers, “you may use the bathroom but only in emergencies, please!”
Would you go on a long trip on a bus after hearing that or would you spring for the airlines?

Heck no. I have to go a lot, [either a small bladder or very efficient kidneys] and when I need to go, I go. I would never put myself in a situation where I didn’t have access if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.
It sounds like a nightmare to me!! LOL
Yes I would take the trip and use the bathroom if I needed to relieve myself. They just say that so the holding tank doesn’t have to be emptied as often.
I’ve travelled quite a bit by bus but I have never heard such an announcement. If you’ve got to go you’ve got to go as they say
I’ve never heard that, and I’m no stranger to Grayhound.
But if they did say this, I’d ignore it. If I have to go I have to go, and Imma go. The fuck they gonna do, phone the cops?
I’ve never heard that one. Most bus trips would have stops along the way to pick up more passengers, anyway. If you take a local bus route there could be a lot of stops… I think I remember five or six between Richmond and DC, only 100 miles. Even an “express” bus will stop at big destinations along the route.
Why not take the train? It costs about twice as much as the bus, but still way less than taking an airplane. And it’s nice… clean and efficient, moderate waits, and not too crowded. Seriously, it’s one of the best ways to get around right now.
A friend of mine told me. Last year a bus driver said, “you may go #1 but not #2.” Oh, that’s nice.
Who was he kidding?
This year another one said , “please do not use the bathroom except in an emergency.” What? Her BF is 76. ???? She goes on train trips but for this trip she found out about the bus.
