Have you ever accidentally created a joke that keeps on giving?
O man. I don’t know if I told you guys this story but: I take my grandkids to school. Every morning I stop directly under that little ole sign that has the letter ‘P’ within a circle, with a line through it (all parking rules go by the wayside at pick up and drop off times at the schools.) I get out of the car with them and walk them to the crosswalk and make sure they take proper ‘crossing the road’ precautions. Aden is 5, and is Learning His Letters. Well, one day he looked up at the sign and said, “That is the letter ‘P’! Puh! Puh! Puh!”
I said, “Very good! And…you know what it means? With the line through it and everything? It means you can’t pee there. You have to find a bathroom.”
Soooo….he repeated that lesson all the way to the crosswalk! I figured it would come out again with another adult when I wasn’t around…but it’s gotten even better (or worse) than that!

Fast forward a two months to present day today.

My daughter and a friend were walking with Aden through the Walmart parking lot when he stopped and asked them about the handicapped parking symbol. Corrie explained what it was, that that’s where people who have to use wheelchairs get to park.
Aden said, “No it isn’t! That’s where you can pee, Mom!!!”
