Pretty much it really. I know it’s not up to much but hey, humour me. Try to use your grey matter rather than a search engine, you’ll feel so much better. Well, maybe a little bit. I’m going to get things off to a gentle start with The Taking of Pelham 123. Good movie too, the original that is.

@shpadoinkle_sue it picks up the story where evil dead 1 finishes! How the hell can that be considered a “remake”?
“Evil Dead II (also known as Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn) is a 1987 American cult horror film and the second installment of the Evil Dead film trilogy.”
Source.
Um. Hate to have to jump in here, but Evil Dead II is a kind of re-make. The story from 1 & 2 are essentially the same. Several people consider it to be both, a re-make and a sequel. Just by watching both movies and seeing how similar the story lines are should be a tip-off that it’s a re-make, Wikipedia notwithstanding.
From 2008 to 2009 Sam Raimi & Company (including Bruce Campbell) were toying with the idea of re-making it again, but taking out the Ash character.
24, I can think of 24 movies with a number in the title.
