If your friend, co-worker, or family member was murdered, would it cross your mind that You might be next on the list?
Would it raise your radar in the slightest bit? Would you be looking over your own shoulder or just be shocked and saddened at the event?

It would depend on the circumstances of their murder, but most likely not.
Not only shocked and saddened, but also angry if the murder was intentional. My life is very dull, as well as friends’ and family for the most part, so I can’t imagine a reason to worry about someone coming after me in conjunction to another’s murder.
Nope not in the least. I would wear my MIL like a bullet proof vest!
I wouldn’t even be surprised, considering some of the people my sister hangs out with. I would be very sad, especially for her children (all adults now).
I suppose it’d depend on the circumstances, but I can’t imagine having any reason to fear for my own life. Naturally, I’d be incredibly sad, shocked and struggling to come to terms with something like that.
I’d be saddened and angry but not expecting to be next on anyone’s hit list. I would take an active interest though in how diligently the local law enforcement was working toward finding the suspect and I’d even be a little keen on getting to the suspect first and exacting some of my own personal justice. I know vigilantism isn’t very becoming but hey, it’s someone close to me that I knew and cared about that was killed and the passions would be running high because of that.
That would depend on why they were killed. However, facing such a situation for real, I do believe I’d be quite scared whatever the reason was, at least in the days to follow said event.
