Dell Dimension 4300 DVI to HDMI Woes.

So I have a Dell Dimension 4300, an older rig, hooked up to my Denon AVR-160 (Via DVI to HDMI), Which is hooked up to my Samsung 42” LCD Tv. All works fine….. Until I turn off the receiver. I am still able to VNC into the machine, but the display on the TV just goes blank once the TV & Receiver are power cycled. Currently to fix the problem I have to restart the computer.

Any Fixes?

Set the Power Scheme on your PC to ALL ON, making sure that the power setting for the TURN OFF MONITOR is set to NEVER . . . see how that works out.
