Need your opinion on some decorating; what do you think of these Handcarved Teak Heads?

I have two wooden shelves and I am going to put one over top of the other. They will be in my living room. I want stuff to go on them. My living room has a vintage/antique look to it. A brown leather sofa and lots of black and white photos and prints. If I were to rest these two heads on one of the shelves (I will have other tchotkes; an old wooden, painted Frida Kahlo box, an antique radio, a small, antique map (framed), these three vases), would it work?
Handcarved Teak Heads
I like this bust, as well.

Love the teak heads. They would go with the vases but not the bust. On the top shelf would be best.
The teak carvings are quite nice.
Never one to input on someone’s personal decorating, but you ask our opinion:-). I like the way you’re thinking about setting up and the arrangement but lose the bust.
@AmWiser I know (about the bust). I’m dropping it (not literally). :)
Whew! It’s not a bad piece, it just need to be in a different setting:~)
What are the colors in the room? You don’t mention that.
Love ‘em!
I find all sorts of unconventional pieces attractive.
I’d experiment with different placings, go room to room or perhaps seek out a complementary grouping of different eclectic pieces that would blend in one particular area.
Your home is your castle, make it interesting!
@marinelife Right now, the room is neutral. I will be adding splashes of color with the floor rug and some pillows. Also, my coffee table will have some color on it.
@mama_cakes Very nice room. Those heads will look great in it!
I’d pass on the bust (nice) only because it doesn’t flow as well as the masks would with your other things. The teak masks are an excellent buy if that’s the current price.
I’d love to see the Kahlo box
In decor, I like to see an eclectic mix of pieces that say something about the person who lives in the room. Anything can “belong” together if you like them together. There’s so much more personality in interesting collections than matchy-matchy perfection.
What do you all think of this?
I love art deco.
A better picture. What do you think?
Very cool. A nice balance of heights, colors and textures. Visually appealing as it keeps your eyes moving over each object.
