Is this the ultimate example of fractals in nature?
Check this photo and tell me this isn’t fractals at their finest.
If this is so, then within our very own brain cells should be another planet earth with living people on it.
Am I reading too much into this? Are we floating around as the many thoughts inside the mind of another being? Are the little dudes inside of us going to little McDonalds and having little burgers with little fries, causing little heart attacks that pay out little life insurance policies to little widows and their little children? Do they have even littler people inside their brain cells?

I would hate to think that there were little McDonalds in my head – I would hope that the little people wouldn’t support little CAFO-style manu-farms and create little environmental disasters.
It might not be you doing the thinking @iamthemob. It might be the little lunatics in our heads.
It’s common to think that subatomic particles are little planets orbiting around each other, but there are so many problems with this idea. The two compared photos are relatively simple mathematical shapes that are likely to happen at a number of scales. This does not mean that the entire universe is a self-repeating shape.
Pass that over here, man.
I actually think that this is the ultimate example of fractals in nature. And I ate it for dinner last week.
That’s wild Cris. Did you grow that? How fun!

No- got some in my CSA box. I didn’t eat the one in the photo, but it looked the same. I did take some pictures of it that I haven’t looked at yet.
you may have just started a new hobby for me… just what I need… thanks, I think
So that WAS a UFO flying around in my skull!! That explains a lot!
I love seeing pictures of brains working. It’s like sci-fi in my head.
