What should a visitor to your area go and see?
What are the most interesting places to visit in your neighbourhood? It could be a beauty spot, a park, a building or a secret place that isn’t in the guidebooks that only afew locals know about.

We’re located in an area that is great for history buffs and outdoor enthusiasts. We are close to Lincoln’s New Salem, Navoo
along the Mississippi River, and Argyle Lake State Park.
We are also located near the hometown to one of the largest Christian Music and Arts festivals in the world (if that’s your cup of tea), The Cornerstone Festival.
I can’t forget The Redneck Fishing Tournament that has grown very popular the past few years. Asian carp have taken over The Illinois River. This tournament was created to catch the nasty bastards.
Strong National museum of play (it’s a toy museum…way cool!). Letchworth state park which is our mini grand canyon. George Eastman of Eastman kodak’s home, now a museum. The erie canal. Nick Tahoe’s, home of the Garbage plate.
It’s either the Drumheller badlands- dinosaur land or all the mountains and lakes, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper.
There isn’t much worth seeing… they would probably drive right through my suburb (if they near it at all – not sure why they would) to a more populous and interesting portion of Los Angeles County.
I live very close to Stonehenge which, if you haven’t already seen it, should probably be visited once in a lifetime. I also live very close to the city of Bath which is steeped in Roman history.
@flutherother You win my vote :-)
My great grandmother’s family was from Loch Lomond area and I’ve always wanted to visit. It looks beautiful.
@Blueroses We should swap for a few weeks in summer. Seriously Loch Lomond is beautiful and you would love it.
