Who the hell is that?

I have to kind of second @FutureMemory‘s response, as in “who the hell is that?”.

It’s not just that I really have no style, but even if I did I have absolutely no idea what “looking at Deepika Padukone’s new look in Break Ke Baad” means; and that being said, to answer your question, I would have to say no. I can’t imagine that “seeing Deepika Padukone’s new look in Break Ke Baad” would change my mind about much of anything. I don’t work that way; whoever the hell he or she or that is.

It a Bollywood movie release, just a regional question.

Deepika Padukone is an Indian who gave up her career in badminton to be a model and actress. And, as @Tropical_Willie says, Break Ke Baad is a movie. I haven’t seen it.

I find it odd that badminton is a professional sport, but that’s a whole different thing.

The trailer looks like a cute romantic comedy. Apparently the apparel from this movie has spun off a line of clothing and a new styling.

Sometimes I wish I had some style sense. To me they just look like… clothes.

Thanks for the informative posts, @BarnacleBill @mrentropy @Tropical_Willie.

This person has posted this question before, and her assumption that the average Fluther member would be familiar with “Deepika Padukone’s new look in Break Ke Baad” was really throwing me for a loop.

@avnisaran needs to be a bit more involved in (assuming this) her own questions. On the other hand, I can see where it might look like spam if she provided links and explanations.

I’m still stuck on the badminton thing.

I gave up my gf and my life to become a pro shuttlecocker, so her treachery hurts too deeply for me to even look at the style…hurts too much…to…keep….

I already look good in jeans & T-shirt so this really doesn’t urge me to make any drastic fashion statements :-/
Plus, I already drive A VW too ( not a beetle)

@BarnacleBill
Thanks for the trailer…

@Scooby I’m also wondering what’s so great about her ‘style’..at least from the still images I’ve seen her clothing is totally average/non-special/unremarkable. It would seem one have to know much more about Indian culture to ‘get it’.

@FutureMemory

Ditto, I’ll stick with plain jeans & T-shirt.. I know…. I’m a bore! Lol….. :-/

@FutureMemory This the same question after being edited
@avnisaran No, I am clueless when it comes to fashion, which is strange for a former costumer, but my specialty was fantasy costume, not street wear.
