Are you pleased with your mobile phone?

Asked by flutherother (34864points) November 24th, 2010

Are you pleased with the features yours has or are there things you dislike. Do you use it for purposes other than just phoning and messaging. Which phone would you like to have.

I have a Samsung Genio Touch and I wouldn’t buy a touch screen phone again. The screen is too sensitive. I also use my phone as an alarm clock and occasionally to listen to MP3’s or as a radio. It can access the Internet but I never use it in this way.

Flutherother, my wife has a touch screen Samsung and she hates it for the same reason you stated. it’s too sensitive.

My DROID cell phone is my link to cyber world. It is the coolest thing I own. I have yet to make a phone call on it….but I can play any song off the internet and it takes really good photos!! XD

It’s starting to feel old. I want to get the iPhone 4, but I wanted the white version. Since that’s not out yet, I’m stuck with my old 3GS. It works fine, but it’s a little scratched up and I’m missing the extra features, namely the more powerful camera, which I would really like.

I have the iPhone 4. I like it, but it has glitches. I use it mostly for the Internet.

I love my iPhone, although I rarely use the phone part of it. I view the ability to make calls to be an additional feature. I’ve had iPhones since they came out; I’m one of those people who stands in line on launch day. The only iteration I skipped was 3GS; seemed I could wait for more features than that.

apparently not, because I have put 3 through the washer at my girlfriends house this year. Something about, YOU WORE THESE PANTS TODAY WASH THEM NOW, made me forget. (Okay so she’s not really demanding, but my deflective rationale wanted to use that poor excuse).

My current phone is a nokia basic that has suitable predictive text in English and Chinese allowing me to use it the way I need it. With a dictionary that is so so, I can’t ask for too much better in a $50 piece of crap.

I love my Incredible so much. I don’t really talk on the phone much or text much, so it lets me play games, read books, look things up, play music and be able to call 911 at any moment (that last one is really important, and I’ll freak out and believe I’m going to be attacked if I forget my phone).

I have a Blackberry Curve, and I really like it. Before moving to Toronto, I didn’t have a cell phone (okay, I had a couple over the years, but never used them), but the fiance and I wanted to be able to keep in touch as I’d be going to school and he’d be working.
I really only use it for text messages, and phone sometimes (but I’m not much of a phone person). The plan I have allows for unlimited Facebook and Twitter through my carrier’s network, but I have to be connected to a wi-fi network in order to access any other internet. I really like that setup, because I can see myself being tempted to surf all the time, racking up huge bills.
The Qwerty keyboard was a big draw for me; being relatively new to cell phones it was the easiest to navigate. If the plan I went for didn’t include a Blackberry, though, I probably would have gone for something simpler.

I have an iPhone 4 I promised myself I wasn’t going to jump on the Apple bandwagon but here I am!. For the most part I am pleased with it. It’s certainly the most interesting phone I have ever had.

I love my phone. I have an iPhone 4, but I am also aware that there are many other great phones on the market…
