It sounds like some sort of problem with the electrical system. I have a VW Golf that plays similar tricks. For me, in addition to random electrical nonsense (like unlocking my car after I’ve armed the alarm etc.) there is an electrical short. It means if we go on a trip, we have to unhook the jumper cables or we get a dead battery.

I was told I’d have to take it into the dealer and have them give it a proper shakedown with the computer, and then replace certain parts, in addition to possibly tracking down the short. I declined because the car is old, and not worth the money it would cost to fix it.

Also double check to make sure some button isn’t turned on that was not before. I’ve had that happen too, and it will drain a battery just as fast.
