What is the best thing a kid can get / ask for,for christmas?
Well, i’m talking about kids 8–10 not below or over. like i’m talking about toys,or clothes, and collectables.

A brand new list of household chores for 2011?
Make it special and have them framed…
A blessing that he is loved and have parents that care and protect him/her.
So many children do not know their parents.
A pony of course!
I had it all planned out when I was 8, we could make a stall in the garage and the pony would have a huge backyard and I could ride him to the park and make all my friends jealous! lol
My parents begged to differ with my grand plan, sooo, had to wait til I was 16 and then I got a real BIG horse!
It really depends on the kid and what they like. My son is 8 (soon to be 9) and the top things on his mind are:
1. His dad coming home from Iraq (yes he really says that)
2. An xbox 360
3. Legos
A friend of min has two daughters in that age range. One wants Barbies, the other wants books.
I’m not totally sure I understand the question. Best thing for them? Best thing in general?
But every kid is different, really..
My 9 year old God-sister only wants new clothes so she can “fit in at school”.
My 8 year old cousin has a huge list of video games he wants.
@Coloma I got my first pony when I was 3.. and it DID live in the garage!
I don’t care what sex you are LEGOs and puppets are the best things for kids. You can create worlds and stories within those worlds over and over again, play by yourself or friends, and the best part is it gives you something to do for the rest of the Christmas day :)
I was just thinking yesterday how cool it would have been to have had a boomerang when I was 10.
When I was that age, my most favourite toy in the world was my Spirograph.
Legos, puppets, craft stuff, magic set, chemistry set, for girls 18” doll like American Girls, computer games. Remote control helicopter or car.
An iPod or mp3 player is great at this age, if you can afford it. If they already have one, iTunes cards are good too, and less expensive. This is the age when children start to develop their own interest in music (at least my children did) and not the interests of their parents.
A Wii. Lots of fun games for kids at that age. Plus, you can use it as leverage… “No Wii until you clean your room.”
@AZByzantium come on settle down it’s about to be christmas let’s all be nice:)
